Take a look at this list of the most Instagrammable places in Singapore: This guide will show you some of the best places to take pictures in Singapore. One of which is Marina Bay Sands.
In Singapore, you can find everything from modern high-rise buildings to traditional Peranakan homes, colorful neighborhoods with a lot of history, and perfectly manicured gardens to take a picture of.
To make this list, I’ve teamed up with some of the best travel bloggers in the world. We’ve chosen the most famous and hidden Instagrammable places in Singapore. Also, at the end of this guide is a map that will help you find their exact locations.
Among Singapore’s best places to take pictures, the Merlion is one of the most interesting. It has the head of a lion and the body of a fish, which means that Singapore was a fishing village in the early years.
There are seven Merlion statues all over Singapore. The largest one is in front of the Fullerton Hotel. It’s a good idea to get there early to avoid the crowds. It’s one of the most popular things to do in Singapore.
The Merlion is about a 10-minute walk from the Raffles Place MRT station. You can also take the bus to Fullerton Square and get off at Fullerton Square to get there.
Peranakan Houses on Joo Chiat Road
The colorful and Instagram-worthy Peranakan Houses on Joo Chiat Road are by far the best places in Singapore to go to see. Some houses date back to the 1900s that are decorated with intricate mosaic tiles and painted in soft shades of pink and blue.
To avoid getting hit by cars while taking pictures, don’t stand in front of the road because there is a lot of traffic in that area. Instead, shoot along the pedestrian path. Please be polite because it’s a residential area.
There won’t be many people there because Joo Chiat Road is outside the city center. This makes it easy to visit at any time of the day.
You can get there quickly by taking a Grab taxi. If you don’t have a lot of money, you can also take the bus, but be ready for a long ride.
Marina Bay Sands
The Marina Bay Sands is one of the most popular places to take pictures in Singapore because it is right in the middle of the city’s business area.
It has three towers that are connected at the top by a boat-shaped roof that has the most beautiful infinity pool! Check out the Skypark Observation Deck if you aren’t staying at the hotel. You can get a bird’s eye view of Marina Bay from there.
Take a picture of Marina Bay Sands even if you can’t afford to stay there. There are many places where you can get a photo for free. A few of them are the Esplanade, the Helix Bridge, and Gardens by the Bay, but many more. You can find lots of luxury hotels in Marina Bay that are best for staycation or business trips.
Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi
The Rain Vortex, a 40-meter waterfall that flows in a single column through different levels of the Jewel, is the best thing about Changi airport. T
People who live in Singapore and are traveling to Singapore can go to this new Instagram spot just outside of Terminal 1.
There is a Skytrain that runs between T2 and T3. Even if you only have a few hours in Singapore, you can still visit the Rain Vortex. Otherwise, you’ll have to go through immigration before you can fully enjoy the Jewel because it’s outside of the area where people go to and from the airport.
There is no charge to go into the Rain Vortex, but there are many other things to see in the Jewel.
From 9 am to 11 pm, the Rain Vortex is open every day, and you can go inside at any time. Every hour from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m., there’s a Light and Sound show.
MacRitchie Treetop Walk
The TreeTop Walk is in the middle of the MacRitchie Reservoir, which is a great place to go for a walk. The 250-meter-long bridge is one of the best places in Singapore to take pictures because it’s so hidden. There are places where you can walk between the trees in the area and look at the plants and animals from a different point of view, sometimes more than 20 meters above the ground.
In Singapore, the MacRitchie Reservoir is far from the city’s main attractions. Take the MRT to Marymount, then a bus to Windsor Road, or walk from the MRT station to the Windsor Road bus stop.
People can go on the TreeTop Walk for free. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday and from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The best time to visit is early in the morning, before noon.
