Bookmark this link so you can refer to these tips before Halloween rolls along.  These silly little yellow creatures stole the scene and our hearts from the very first time we set eyes on them in Despicable Me (2010). If you love them as much as I do, you’ll enjoy these fun facts about the minions.

All minions have boy names (Dave, Stuart, Jerry, Jorge, Tim, Mark, Phil, Kevin and Bob) even though we don’t know their ‘sex’. How they reproduce is unknown although there are two possibilities. They are either created out of a single strand of mutated DNA, or created out of ordinary humans using a weapon called the Minionizer.

There are only a total of 5 different hairstyles for Minions. Flat centre-parted, spikey, standing straight up, tiny clump and bald. Tall minions all have the same tiny clump of hair type style!

The Banana Song
Banana is the very popular song sang by the Minions in Despicable Me 2. It is a parody of a Beach Boy’s song called Barbara Ann.

Here are the lyrics:
banana-ah-ah (ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-nana)
potato-na-ah-ah (ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-nana)
banana-ah-ah (ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-nana)
togari noh pocato-li kani malo mani kano chi ka-baba, ba-ba-nana
