Did you play the first Rampage game when it hit arcades in 1986? It was a pretty unique game when it came out in the 80s. Instead of playing a stereotypical action hero who traversed level after level defeating evil monsters – you were the evil monster. And your mission was to destroy the entire city by literally punching each building until it collapsed.

And now, there’s even a movie based on the game!

There’s something satisfying about causing millions of dollars worth of property damage – or just collateral damage, in general. And we all love destroying things because deep down, we’re all angry people. How else can you explain the immense popularity of the Fragment Room, where customers pay to smash a whole roomful of breakable objects?

Better yet – if you were a giant monster from Rampage, which one would you be? Take our quiz below to see which monster best suits your personality!

Scoring

Mostly A’s: You should mutate into George the giant gorilla. You’re straightforward and blunt, and you have no fancy moves when it comes to mass destruction!

Mostly B’s: You should mutate into Ralph the huge werewolf. Like all werewolves, there are two sides to your personality – and woe to anyone who gets on the wrong side!

Mostly C’s: You should mutate into Lizzie the gigantic lizard. You’re no less powerful than the other two, but you’re a cold-blooded destroyer (since lizards are cold-blooded, after all).

But enough fantasising about being a giant monster – you should see how a real giant monster would behave in a city! That’s what happens in Rampage, where strange experiments have created a giant gorilla (George), a giant wolf (Ralph), and a giant crocodile (Lizzie). It’s up to Davis Okoye (The Rock) to stop these monsters and find out who’s behind it – before they destroy the entire city in a Rampage!

But we’re secretly hoping that they destroy the city anyway.
